Wax Melt Instructions

Add one or two cubes into the dish of your wax warmer. Turn on your warmer and allow the wax to melt. As it warms, the fragrance will fill the room.

Start with one cube and add another if you'd like a stronger scent experience in a larger room. But be careful not to add too much wax as it can actually decrease the scent throw.

A Few Helpful Tips:

  • Different fragrances and room sizes may require different amounts of wax and depending on the room size, more than one warmer.
  • When the fragrance has faded, allow the wax to cool before removing and replacing with fresh wax.
  • Mix and match scents to create your own unique fragrance blends.
  • Store unused wax melts in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.

Tips For Removing Wax:

There are a few ways to remove scented wax from your warmer bowl. Since scented wax does not evaporate, it must be cleaned out before reusing the bowl.

  • While the wax is still liquid in the bowl, use a paper towel, a cotton ball, or makeup remover pads to soak up the liquid wax.
  • Let the wax cool down to room temperature and place the wax bowl into your freezer for about 15 minutes or so. Apply a bit of pressure to the wax and it should slide out.
  • For the brave, you can hot dump into the garbage or another receptacle and then wipe down with a paper towel or a cotton ball.

My preferred method is #1. Mainly because if you are using a glass or ceramic wax bowl and using method #2, repeated freezing and heating cycles can cause the bowl to become damaged or brittle over time making it easier to crack or break.

I personally recommend, if you have a warmer that allows you to use a different bowl, that you use egg tart molds or some type of similar bowl. You can find them on Amazon or any other store by searching for egg tart molds. These are non-stick bowls that I like to use : https://a.co/d/dF5nt2Z These are great because when you have multiple bowls, you can switch them out as needed and let them cool down while another scent is melting and when the wax is cooled down, it usually just pops out!

Or, if you want to keep using the bowl the warmer came with but don't want the wear and tear of melting and cleaning wax from the bowl, you could also opt for silicone liners such as : https://a.co/d/ixcTCVn These are great to use in the warmer bowl because when you have multiple liners, you can switch them out as needed and let them cool down while another scent is melting and when the wax is cooled down, it just pops out! My only concern with these is that silicone can leech wax (it looks like flaky white stuff on the outside of the silicone container) so over time, wax can still end up in the bowl (or on the warmer).

Never add water. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
