Perfume Instructions & Care
The best use of TSGS perfume is to spray onto skin, hair and clothing.
Avoid spraying perfume in or around eyes.
I package my perfumes in amber bottles to help protect the perfume. To make perfume last longer, store it in a cool, dry, dark place and avoid direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Heat and light can break down the fragrance molecules, affecting the scent.
The bathroom is not ideal for storing perfume because of the changes in temperature and humidity. The humidity can oxidize the perfume's ingredients, causing the scent to change or smell off.
Avoid shaking the bottle: This can introduce air and spoil the fragrance.
Different fragrance oils naturally have different colors and can affect the final color of the perfume product.
Handmade Perfumes
It is generally recommended to let handmade perfumes rest for a period of time after making them. A process called aging allows the fragrance oils to fully blend and develop their full scent potential, similar to how wine ages. Depending on the fragrance, this process can take a few weeks. Spray 5 - 10 full sprays and then allow the bottle to sit for a few weeks.
